OUR PROGRAMS
PAIRING PROGRAM
Anyone over 18 with an intellectual disability or autism spectrum disorder can apply for a pairing with Parrainage Civique Montréal. The pairing consists of a member (best buddy) and a volunteer (buddy) who share common interests and expectations.
If you wish to apply, we encourage you to contact the pairing program coordinator to discuss possible options.
It is necessary to update your application annually. An annual fee of $12 is required to obtain a membership card, which grants access to all services provided by Parrainage Civique Montréal and allows participation in the annual general meeting.
REGULAR PROGRAMMING
A regular program is offered to members of Parrainage Civique Montréal with ID or ASD. They are invited to participate in weekly and monthly activities, such as :
-
Improvisation workshops
-
Visual arts workshops
-
Dance classes
-
Yoga classes
And several other workshops on topics such as defending their rights, self-esteem, cultural discovery, sexuality, etc.
SUMMER IN MONTREAL
Every summer, a calendar of summer activities is offered to our members with ID/ASD. Activities such as shows, festivals, theater performances and museums allow participants to explore and engage fully in Montreal city life. These outings enhance their ability to use public transport and improve their social skills.
